In 1987 Bram Nauta received the MSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands. In 1991 he received the PhD degree from the same university and joined Philips Research in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In 1998 he returned to the University of Twente, where he is currently a distinguished professor, heading the IC Design group. He served as the editor-in-chief (2007 – 2010) of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits and was the 2013 programme chair of the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC). He is currently the president-elect of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society.
