Next-generation connected wearables: a hands(/wrist)-on technology overview

Exercise trackers have brought the wearables segment of the IoT to the consumer space when they were first introduced. Nowadays the diversity and complexity of wearables for commercial, industrial and medical applications is significant. This talk will address many aspects of the technology for premium, enhanced and basic feature set wearable devices, starting at the system level, down to the radio level and power management of connected wearables. Highlights include integration challenges and solutions for SoCs for the wearable space that combine connectivity, charging, power distribution, audio and analog features.
